A Wonderfully Rustic Appeal
Air Dale’s main base of operations is their drive-to lodge on sprawling Whitefish and Manitowik Lake’s just east of Hawk Junction, Ontario. The facility has been newly refurbished and offers guests a wonderfully rustic venue at a very reasonable cost! The main lodge offers guests the option of housekeeping cabins, or the full American plan which includes all meals in the main lodge. The lake system is huge, with over 40 kilometres of navigable water, an endless amount to explore and fish. Great multi species fishing for walleye, pike, lake trout and smallmouth bass is the highlight here. You’ll never get bored at Air Dale Lodge!
Remote Fly-InOutpost Camps
The bread and butter of Air Dale’s operation is their fly-in outpost camps. Only accessible by float plane they offer 18 distinctly different locations, each one boasting incredible fishing in a true wilderness setting. Camps range from rustic one room cabins, to more deluxe venues with hot and cold running water and showers.

With 18 fly-in outpost lakes to choose from, there will be a lake that fits everybody's fishing needs. From lakes teeming with walleye and pike to lakes with serious trophy fish potential. Back LakeAdventures
Used a base of operations, Air Dale Lodge offers the adventurous angler unlimited opportunities to fish countless nearby back lakes! The area around Hawk Junction has one of the highest concentrations of brook trout lakes in the province, most of which are seriously underutilized! Fish in the 2-4 pound class are common with giants in the 6-8 pound class a very real possibility! In addition to the incredible brook trout fishing there are many other nearby lakes teeming with walleye, pike and even giant sized splake. It truly is an angling paradise!
A PerfectFamily Getaway
The lodge itself is situated on a huge beach, perfect for young families with kids. Close proximity to Wawa with its numerous amenities and tourist attractions makes Air Dale Lodge an ideal choice for a family escape! Their Medhurst Lake outpost fits the bill as well. A fantastic camp sitting just steps from the water with its own private beach and fast and easy fishing for walleye. What more could you want?
Trophy Moose& Bear Hunts
Air Dale offers 7 day moose hunts at a large number of their fly-in outpost camps. Accessible only by air, this is remote hunting at its finest! Most of the camps are situated NE of Hawk Junction in close proximity to the famed Chapleau Game Preserve. Wildlife abounds in this region and success rates are extremely high. Bear hunts are held out of the main lodge, with numerous established baiting stations and tree stands available for the hunter. Again, bear concentrations are extremely high and hunter success is close to 100%!
